My earliest photo memories are of the floral patterns of my dresses. What happiness to see the pattern move as I moved!
As a visual artist, I had a longing to let my images wander on and form patterns; something I now do under the name Stenfågeln design. In the beginning there is always the drawing. I draw by hand with a pencil, after which I scan the images and then process them in the computer. The pattern world of the stone bird consists to a very large extent of things from the plant kingdom; of flowers and leaves, but also of insects and other things that crawl and crawl.
